How to Format iMate Jam


The i-mate JAM is a Windows Mobile PDA smartphone manufactured by HTC and sold primarily in Europe and Asia. If you are having problems with your i-mate JAM and need to format it, you can perform a hard reset to restore it to factory settings. This is also recommended if you plan to give or sell your phone to someone else. A hard reset will remove all of your contacts and personal information and restore the phone to its factory settings. Instructions


  • Turn off the device.
  • Press and hold the power button on the i-mate JAM. The power button is located on the upper right side of the phone.
  • Use the stylus to press the soft reset button located on the bottom of the phone. The reset process should take only a few seconds.
