How to Copy and Paste On A Palm Pre


Learning how to copy and paste text on the Palm Pre is relatively easy. Not only that, but it can save you valuable time versus having to retype something.

Instructions


  • The first step to copy and pasting text on the Palm Pre is to turn on the phone. Once the Pre is on, go to a screen displaying text that you wish to copy. This can be text in an email, on a website, or in a note among other places.
  • Next, to highlight the text place the cursor where you want to start highlighting. Now hold down the SHIFT button and start moving your finger to highlight text. Do this until all the text you wish to cut or copy is highlighted.
  • Now, place a finger in the gesture area (below the main screen) and press C to copy, X to cut, and V to paste. Obviously in order to paste you need to have first used cut or copy.
